no you dont need a 26.5, youll be slopping around once they pack out. get a 25.5 and you will be sooo much happier. peace

GO TO A SHOP. GET THEM FITTED. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT SIZE.
DONT RELY ON NS FOR BOOT HELP. MOST PEOPLE ON HERE ARENT BOOTFITTERS (no offense of course)
Dont decide on what boots you want either... just because you WANT the il moros, doesnt mean they will fit your foot... they might be too narrow, as they are for me... Same with the SPK's... you might find them to not even fit your foot right, and instead need like a technica or something...
so yeah. go to a legit shop, and get fitted its the ONLY true way to know what you need.

from experience, I wear size 9 street shoes, my foot measures at around 8.5 and 26.5s are perfect. If you wear a pair of regular wool ski socks they will be perfect, 26 would be good too but I wouldn't go lower than that unless you like ur boots super tight.

dont listen to the haters, my brother bought a size 31 nordica boot from a ski swap. he wears a size 11 shoe. he skied those mech-boots for 4 seasons straight.
he even painted dragons, knights and wizards his too short, old, midsole marker-mounted volkl expressions. good stuff.
needless to say, using gear that wasnt right for him made him hate and suffer through skiing. dont make the same gaperish mistake.
my advice is to use gear that works properly based on your needs, not wants.

i have a size 8.5-9 foot and i have 25.5 spks and their a little too tight for my liking, im hoping they will pack out. and he said he wants them a little bigger.
id say go 26.0 or 26.5, leaning a little more towards 26.0.....
