Dave Watson, meathead films athlete and 2 time Everest summiter, is attempting to be the first person to make a ski descent of K2. 11 people died a few days ago in an icefall/avalanche on the mountain. Watson and his expedition helped with the rescue operations and still plan to summit the peak. RIP
