I have to go to the doctors office in 30 minutes and get a meningitus shot.... I hate shots. I'm a big pussy, I'll admit it. /end random summer boredom thread.
idk i am to but it got threw it, just don't look at the needle when they bring it in and look away from it at the wall when the doctor is doing and squeeze something if you can. it helps me alot
just think about something else and you'll hardly feel it (meningitis shot in the arm??)
i had a hepatitis b shot with a big ass needle and my whole leg went numb but painful. i had to walk home with a leg which felt like it had been charlie horsed.
The TB shot isn't really like a regular shot. I'm surprised you need one for college. You sure its not TDap?
Anyway, for TB they take a really small needle and slide it under your skin, very close to the surface. Then they inject you with the whatever it is, and it creates a big bubble in your skin. It looks and feels so weird. It's like a super blister. It fades in a couple of hours. If you have TB antibodies in your body then your arm will break out in a rash. It's a pretty awesome yet creepy shot.
Well I'm back... it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be because the last time I had to get shots it was 5 of them into my big toe... that fuckin' sucked. Also, when I got there I had to get an extra shot because I wasn't up to date. I hate suprises like that.
