Shoelace belts

i think shoelace belts work really well
and their only $1.00 at olympia, but some people think their gay

any thoughts???

word....i have a lot of people hate on them but i think its cause they've never tried one........why spend $15 on a belt when u can get 15 laces in any color u want

IMO shoelace belts are only good in one situation.... when you get to the hill, and you spaced on bringing a real belt, remove shoelace, use as belt.

Other then that, its just another stupid fad.  Just like tight jeans and frogskins.

ive been doing it for like 4 yrs now.... because i had these sick hot pink shoelaces the were too small for my shoes.

They look good with jeans, they're cheap/free, and they work fine... I don't think you could use them with ski pants, unless you fashioned yourself some shoelace overalls.

something else that worked wonderfully in a situation like that for me was tying two bandannas together, they actually held fairly well

wait so were talkin just putting a shoe lace through yoru belt loop to hold your pants up? thats fucking gay and i think it would be uncomfortable like make your pants feel all weird around the waist. and it would look like shit!
