So last night, through a cloudy series of events, my cell phone was dropped in a toilet. It was in the toilet for only about 5 seconds, and I immediately dried it off with paper towels. I then put it in a ziplock bag with rice and placed it on top of a dehumidifier. It worked for a few minutes last night, but then turned itself off. It's sitting in the bag still now. Is there any hope for my phone? Should I leave it there for a day or so?
