Its called the Large Hadron Collider. It can't pass through dimensions; it can't rip the space/time continuum. All its supposed do is prove that the Boson particle exists, and, if it does, it will prove string theory; at least in some respects.
I doubt any of you know what or how string theory works or the complex math involved beyond what wikipedia tells you, but I'm not gonna bother trying to explain something no one but like 8 people understand.
And as to the person with the thing about the black hole, it is not a tear in the space/time continuum. It is simply what is called a quantum singularity, in which all mass = 1. It is possible to break free of a black hole, but short of a wormhole (which is possible), it is waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too hard to explain. Think calculus and solar masses. I read about it though. Didn't make damn sense at all.
But one interesting fact is that Black Holes can fill up. It only takes 2 million x the amount of solar mass that composes the black hole. IE lots of stars.
