Me and a few friends were really considering to take greyhound to camp next year to save money but ummm.....

Caton described the attacker as surprisingly calm. "It was like he was at the beach or something. There was no rage in him. He wasn't swearing or cursing or anything. It was just like he was a robot or something."


So he didnt even have any reason for the attack and he wasnt even mad. he was chill the whole time of the attack.

If this isn't an agrument for the death penalty, I don't know what is. Fuck it, the police should have just busted in and gunned they guy down and skip the whole bullshit justice system. I don't care if the guy was mentally ill, that is some fucked up shit. He he were actually that mentally ill, he should have been locked up in an institution. Fuck the insanity plea, he decapitated somebody. Give him the chair.

Canada has banned the death penalty for all crimes. Doesnt matter if someone bombs a daycare or shoots the premier they will not get death penalty. Life in jail for sure. All thanks to our good Premier Trudeau.

No, you just have dudes sniping people from the trunk of a car while they are filling up their gas, or parking their truck with a load of fertilizer and diesel beside a daycare...

Pointing out stupidity in threads on NS has become too much of a mainstay to generally even be bothered with, but seriously.

Now no one is gonna ride the bus anymore?  Last time I checked a head doesnt get sawed off on every single bus ride.  In fact, now is probably a safer time to ride the bus, because the chance of getting your head sawn off just went way down, as it just happened.

While we are at it, I do personally think that capital punishment needs to be reinstated.  There is not a single ounce of doubt as to who committed the crime and given the severity of it, can the perpetrator really still be considered human?  I guess that depends on what the definition of human is, but I'd say, in such a case as this, this "person" lost the right to be labeled as such.  Thus, doing away with him wouldn't, or shouldn't even be regarded as murder.  What's the point of having such a person rot in jail until he dies?  If outright killing him is to be seen as an anti- solution - a murder to punish a murder - fly this guy to the south pole and let nature take its course...

this may be the most fucked up shit I have ever heard about.

I feel so bad for that kid who got killed. He was so helpless. Guy was just sleeping and listening to music, like we all have done before...

the killer is clearly a crazy bastard. I heard some guys saying that the ppl on the bus were pussies for not helping. That's complete bullshit. i know if i was in that situation i would be trying to get the fuck outta there ASAP.

This guy is gonna get fucked up in prison. let the other prisoners take care of him for the rest of his life.

Well the idea of banishing the death penalty is two wrongs dont make a right and, that the criminal would suffer more if they have to stay in jail for a lifetime which has more affect on him than death. Cuz it takes a second to kill but a lifetime for him to see what he did wrong.

thats just plain disgusting. like i would so throw up if i were to stab someone that many times. like can you imagine stabbing someone 60 times? just try even just make the motion 60 times and see how many that is. then he went and sawed off his head? yuck. but i also believe that the death penalty is not the answer. this psycho obviously needs some help. like counseling and stuff.

tbh, im not even sure how there was anything left of the body
after 60 times other than a large pool of flesh and blood.
and if that happened while i was on that bus,
would puke and then smash a window and jump out or book it to that door.
i would try to help that guy, but it just doesnt make sense after he was stabbed 10 times,
im pretty sure he'd be gone by then.
