ok so here is the story. I go to school in DC and we have an annual ski/board trip for around 50 kids or so over MLK weekend or thereabouts. we had been going to smuggs untill two years ago, when my friend and i decided we had enough and lobbied the moderator to go out west instead. we have been going to the canyons for the past two years, and for our group, it was almost perfect. this year, however, the sundance film fest is the same weekend as the one we can do a trip this year. park city is completely booked, so we cant go to the canyons, or really any where else in the PC area. i have been thinking about other resorts to go to that would accomodate our group for a relatively low price. (around 900/1000 pp) so far, i have been thinking about winterpark or keystone mostly. they have good group sales and are decently convenient. i know they both have good parks, but how are they outside of it? the group consists of kids ranging from fairly beginner, to a few kids who can ski everything (park, trees, steeps, BC whatever). the majority of kids are just decent. i would like to find a place with good steeps/trees, fairly affordable, good accomodations, and a decent park. any suggestions or feedback would be awesome. thanks alot.
