Why does my computer's display look like this?

i have a mac, and i used bootcamp to run windows. when i boot up into leopard, everything looks super sharp, but when i boot up into xp (service pack 2) everything looks fuzzy. i have a 15 inch mbp so the resolution of the screen is set to 1280 x 800 (what the monitor is) on both leopard and xp. am i missing something in xp? why does it look so fuzzy?

usually it's fuzzy when it has to scale a non native resolution. You absolutely sure xp is set to 1280 x 800?

I think your monitor is suppose to be in 1400x900...that was my stock on my mbp ...try that

haha wow im a dumbass. thank you, that worked perfectly. i think my screen is bigger than i thought lol. i guess i am a mac sterotype huh?
