Crash and burn......

Damn son that sucks, but thats pretty bad ass that you rode down that messed up.  This is my first year and I have only done XC so far so I dont have anything that bad... yet.  I did have my worst 2 falls this weekend on downhill sections but nothing too bad.  It was my first time on this trail and I guess I was going a little to fast and the first time I fell I went only a little drop and it was fine except for there were some rocks around the landings that sent me over the bars.  I landed on my shoulder and hit my helmet on the ground but not that hard.  Only have some small cuts and scratches to show.  Almost the same thing happened the second time but instead of rocks there were more drops.

so i was coming down a steep ass singletrack trail that ive never done, my buddy in front of me cuts left really quickly towards the end of the trail right before u drop off a 4 foot stone wall onto a dirt road. I probly shouldve hopped and landed on the road hard...but i panicked and went over the bars and broke my collarbone. and drove myself to the hospital because it really wasnt that painful.

october 2007, great way to begin my senior year

was biking around C.O.P. with some friends where there are no bikers allowed, found a sick straight-line dirt road to the trails park. FLEW down it, hit a two-foot and got about 10 feet of air, then hit a natural 4-foot dj, flew about 25 feet into the air, landed on flat, bounced off my seat and the nutted myself on the back tire, while it was rolling. fell over, people came rushing over to ask me if a was okay, i told them my balls hurt, they started clapping and saying that was the most epic jump they'd ever seen. it sure as hell felt epic when i was in mid-air, i nearly shit myself when i saw i was going to land on flat ground.
whenever somebody who witnessed the event recognizes me, they recite it and then ride with me for the rest of the day.

dude ive done that, sucks a fat one... i wasnt goin as high though, but i rolled for a bout 50 feet cuz i couldnt reach my brake levers.....i was on a 24" wheel........ahhowwwww

i just got my casts off like 2 days ago, now i have braces i can take off, goin to physical therapy sucks. i call it torture class...

Nothing too bad on my end. A few over the bars when I went into a turn too hot, panicked and grabbed the front too hard. No injuries aside from scrapes and cuts and a bruised ego.

Absolute worst which again, was injury free, was last early this spring. I was riding a section of trail I had never ridden before. (XC singletrack) and there was a little stream crossing. I went through it and there was a super steep embankment on the other side RIGHT after the water. Went to get up it, but stalled and flipped backwards before I could unclip. Landed on my head in about a foot of cold stream water.

No serious injuries from it, but my helmet bears a good dents from it on the back.

was cruisin through the middle wooded section of fire swamp at dv (the part right before you open up and go between the two shacks and drop) and hit a stump which made me go off the jump at the end into a small evergreen that was next to the jump and sprained my wrist pretty badly
