What is the best way to export my videos in HD while maintaining a small file size, preferably under 500 mb?

i dont know but does anybody know where i can find a tutorial on it. i just got it and i cant figure it out at all.

quicktime movie is the best format for smaller files. they have an HD option but nless its under like a minute its gunna be too big. If you use quicktime movie and a host like vimeo u get pretty high quality stuff
