Line Chronic '09 - need advice

I am thinking of getting a pair of these from Untracked.com in the next few weeks, but I'm unsure of a few things.
First off I wanna check that these are the right ski for me - I have been skiing for 11 years and have only recently got into park skiing. This will be my first pair of twintips and I want them to perform in the park as well as on the piste and a little off it. In percentages, I'll be doing about 50% park, 45% groomers and 5% powder. Any other ideas for skis I could look at? Armada AR6?
Secondly, the length. After reading around the forum a bit I think I should go for 176... I am 6' and weigh 180lbs. I reckon the 181 would be too big.
And opinions on the Marker Griffon??
Anyway any responses are appreciated
Thanks
I'm new by the way :)

I'm not sure whether 181cm will be too long, I've always skied on mid 170s for on piste which is why I am drawn to the 176
thanks anyway, +karma for you
anyone else?

I'd go with the 181s.
remember.. park skis are way softer than piste skis bro... so having the extra length will give you more stability at high speeds...
I weigh like 130, am 6'0 and ride on 180s... and i'm absolutely fine with spinning, and everything... the extra length gives so much more stability, its ridiculous.
I would not reccomend anything smaller than the 181 in the chronic for ya, but its up to you.

you sound like a good enough skier to benefit from the extra length. remeber these will be mounted futher up than your previous skis so it wont be a huge jump at all. go with 181's for sure.

also i hear the griffons are a very good binding. you may be a little heavy for them though.

I was in the same situation. i'm 6'3 and have always had non twins in the 170 range so i was thinking 176 as well because i thought 181 would be too long.
After looking around on here i decided to go for the 181 Dumonts and they are great i have only skied on them for 2 days but the length feels good even a little biit on the short side.
So definitely go for the 181s but 5 cms wouldnt really make that much difference

Thanks for all the replies +karma, looks like I will be going for the 181
Any ideas on where to mount? -2cm seems to be the normal point for Chronics but I hear that Line recommend that they be mounted -6cm which seems a lot

id def mount -2 to -4. Little closer to center if you are gonna be park seshin a lot, closer to -4 if you will be skiing more pow and more groomers.

I think I will get the 09's cause the graphics are pretty sweet, but now that I've seen the 09 AR6 I am having trouble deciding!! Thanks to everyone who posted - I think I will go for 181 with the Griffon mounted at -2.
