Lyme Disease

So I just found out that I have lyme disease after numerous blood tests. Has anyone one else had it before? Possible home remedies?

i know how you feel i have had it twice. it is the worst thing that has ever happend to me the first time they thought i had something else that was 5 times worse. anyway i couldnt keep my head off my desk at school i just had no energy i slept from 7 at night to 8 went to school came home at like 3 and slept from 3 to like 6 and i did even like move on weekends i had blood taken from me 3 times a week then that one time the last time they took blood they took 20 or somth of those tubes but then they reallized i had lyme disease after my whole body was puffy and it sucked

the doctor told me that I was lucky that I caught it because if you dont get any antibiotics in 30 days it stays with you for life

if they catch it soon enough , it's curable.  and make sure you get that shit taken care of, my father got it wen i was 2, and now 18 years later he is stuck in a wheelchair , lots of physical therapy and shit.. pretty sad stuff.

no home remedies, and this isn't that funny. go to the doctor, get it treated early, do the real thing. or else you will lose all of your muscle mass and shrivel into what resembles a 5 month old potato

i went to the doctor and he gave me some antibiotics that have been making me throw up a lot. Weird ass disease though... very glad that I caught it

this kid i know had it and luckily they found it early enough so he didnt loose a lot of his nerves
get it treated asap because its not worth it if you dont. good luck

the tick has to be attached for 30 hours for the disease to be transmitted

I had it.  I got a deer tick on me, and lo and behold, two days later a bullseye rash.  I went to the doctor.  they tested me for lyme disease and I came up negative.  then they told me that tests don't always work.  I told them to give me the antibiotics now before it got worse.

the crazy thing is I actually had to work hard to convince the nurse to give me a prescription.  my point was, better safe than sorry.  seems pretty reasonable to me.

I didn't want to go through what my friend went through at beach week.  he was lying on a couch saying in his southern accent "guys, I'm really sick!  I need to go to a hospital!" but we all just thought it was alcohol related and told him to sleep it off.  I still feel bad about that.  when he got home he found out the bad news.  he's fine now though.

yah my dad just caught it the other day he had gotten a tick on him about a week ago and he removed it.  This week he saw the bullseye rash so he got the antibiotics asap.  He should be legit he caught it fairly quick.

My brother had it when he was really little and all the doctors here were bitches about it.  But anyways yeah man, its really serious, so do what you have to do.  He couldn't even feed himself it was so bad.  Now he's fine, but for a time it was like a had a brother with temporary down-syndrome, and he knew it.  It was crazy

Ya man it was so weird before i was diagnosed. I had headaches, weird ass rashes, stiff neck and back, nausea and my legs felt strangely heavy and immobile. Its so scary that it comes from a parasite that you can barely even see. I appreciate all of the support from you guys and all of the stories.
