Attatching metal tubes

I know i missed the thread, but can someone help me with attatching metal tubes to a 2x4? Do you screw in the ends with bolts?  Help is appreciated.

what I'd do is on both ends drill holes on the bottom, and put a bolt through the 2x4 and tube from under the 2x4, and somehow manage to attach a nut to it. thats what I'do, If you find a way to attach it in the middle too definitely do that, but just both ends would work i think

Thanks, that is what i was thinking of with mabye some liquid nails glue which i read somewere here.

yeah liquid nails work good too just leave clamps on them overnight.. as well as the bolts and screws it cant hurt!
