Searchbar question

i see why you would searchbar something for a specific question that has been answered before; that makes sense. say you want to know where to find a certain edit, or how to get to chad's gap from the bottom of alta, or something like that, in which case you would searchbar to find the answer. however, threads that are "post a picture of _______" or along those lines, they don't deserve to have people saying "searchbar n00b" because every time these threads pop up, new material is posted (often hilarious) even if the thread has happened before. once a thread dies, nobody wants to bring it back up again, and people often don't care about or dont even know of such threads. each new thread brings more opportunites for people to post their pictures or give their thoughts on certain subject. don't hate on open-ended thread reposts.
