Replying to My friend and I have big dreams but have no idea where to start.

So for awhile now my friend and I have been thinking about starting making some ski/snowboard outerwear. We have a few designs drawn out but we really have no idea where to start. So this goes out to anyone with experience in outerwear production. Any tips on where to start? Where to find the necessary materials? Also any other additional info you can give that may help us out.
