Mass Gear Threads?

I see what you are saying, but with crowbard, 70% of this site would have a pair or have owned some previously, so the crowbar thread was relevant.

The problem with outerwear is that everyone uses different gear. Oakley is probably the most used, but if you think of how many different brands there are, and how the sizing varies within those brands (i.e Orage Vibe v. Masters v. Gallery fit) - I think a single thread for outerwear sizing would be hard to follow.
It would be hard to combine all popular brands into one thread, and i guess the only option is to have a shitload of little threads, specific to each brand.

I guess if the searchbar was more effective, then it could potentially minimise the clutter?

Yeah man, I see what you're saying.  It just seems as though Saga is the hot gear right now and everyone is asking questions.  They can't all be incompetent though, so either they're just stupid or they each feel that finding the perfect size for they're body size is important enough for its own thread.  If someone could make a thread that said "Saga Sizes" or something that listed: Ok, a small will fit these people baggy, these people medium, and these people not at all.  Now a medium will fit these people...etc.  That could work.  No one asks about Oakley or Orage or whatever a lot now though...its all about the Saga. 

I was thinking that the thread would be about one brand...not all together.  Like, they'res a Saga outbreak (geez, whats with me and saga?) so we'll make a saga thread...next year its Sunice so we do that.

It would be cool if there was some type of link in the form of a thread title that lead to the "review" which could just be a standard, well written review somehow hyperlinked and stickied to the top of the forum...
