nto to start an arguement, but IMHO i look forward to saturday nights, and how can you hate on cherry, and seriously you cant say bob cole and harry neil are the worst announcers, there some of the best( in my opinon) and they were even chosen to do olympic hockey coverage, so obvious producers agree with me, i just wonding how you can say they're so bad, and sure TO may have shitty team but the games are exciting. Mauby i just overacting or maybe you had a whole lot of sarcasm that i was unable to detect

Not only are they incredibly biased, Bob Cole also can't fucking speak. Which is pretty important for an announcer. He says things that don't make sense, then instead of correcting it he just leaves a big pause........then picks up doing something else. He also can't pronounce names (Bieksa is Biek - sa, NOT Bies - ka, its fucking simple!) and combines words into jibberish if he gets too excited, like GORE!!! (score and goal). I can't stand watching the early game on HNIC, he literally ruins the entire experience whether the leafs are playing or not.

Now Jim Hughson, he knows how to call hockey.

If you think Bob COle is a good anouncer then you've obviously never seen a hockey game before. He just blunders around talking about jibbereish misprounouncing names. Now Don Taylor and Jim Hughson thats pure win.
