Rossignol Axial 2 140TI pros OR Look Jib Trouble PX15

15's. More metal, no vertical toe release, worm screw heel.

15's are a much stronger binding, but MUCH more hardcore.

I think you will find the PX15 starts at a DIN of 8, whereas the 140's would start at a DIN of 5..

Not sure how heavy you are, but for many people the px15 has a DIN which starts a bit high..

Agreed though, all things equal - for what you are doing the PX15's are probably better due to heel construction & wormscrew forward pressure.

More info needed - Depends on your BSL and Ability, but you don't need an 8-15 din binding.
There is no way any shop would set you at 8. Assuming you are an expert skier (Type 3) and your foot is about a size 9-10 you would be set around 6 or 6.5

As for your friend, it is unlikely that he would be set at anything much more than 8 or 8.5

Ideally you don't want to set your dins at either extreme of the release scale (Although all bindings are designed to operate effectively at any setting in the range, so i'd honestly save some money and pick up a few pairs of the 140's

More info needed before I/people can give you an accurate DIN setting you should be at.

thanks a ton, im going with the axial2, so should i go with the pro140 or 120, 14 din or 12, i gues it doesnt matter because ill be going at aabout a 6

I can't remeber 100% but I think the only difference between the 140 and 120 is the spring - someone might be able to clarify that.?

MASSIVE difference between PX12 and PX15, but Axial 2 120 and Axial 2 140, not much.

The 140 has some more metal in it.

Where abouts?
