07/08 Salomon SPK

So ski season is ahead(early december) and Lake Louise rarely has snow that early and I need to ski. Anyways, my friend is a Salomon Rep and he offered me a pair or SPK's for me. I'm looking to use it for jibbin,early season and learning park skills . He offered me them in 180cm.
I'm 6'2", 170lbs. Ski Kicking Horse, so that puts my usual skiing percentage at %95 Big Mountain. I'm already buying 186 Rossignol for my Big Powder days. 183 Line Blends for the average days. Like stated earlier, the SPK's would be for the jibbin and most likely CoC next year.

Now for the question time. How do these things handle?

they'll be fine. they're fairly stiff and pipe oriented, but after a lot of jibbing they'll soften up quite a bit because of the foam core, like most salomon skis. i just never understood why these were always so expensive, but if u getting them from a rep then thats not a problem.

Righto,Thank you. I'm just wondering since I haven't had a park ski/ski below 90mm since the 02/03(i think, blue ones) Line 1260's(my first twin)

I know a guy who was sponsored by Salomon, and he swore by those spks. He absolutely loved them. Apparently they are mega light and pretty durable. A bit stiffer I think.

Yea, just after I made the thread, I went to bed and I remembered that I should of put Skis in brackets.

And I hope they're stiff and hold out on me. I broke my Atomic Thugs past season since they were just to damn soft

I wouldnt call KH big mountain bud,

BUt that is a pretty generic park all mountain ski. Light and poppy. you like!
