Water shortage

a lot of talk lately about our consumption of fresh water and our stock of H20 depleting faster than anyone could have guessed... just wondering what everyones take on this was, personally i think it is a problem that is getting played up so we might wake up to the fact before its too late.

we dont know shit about the earth. plain and simple. we also dont know shit about how much humans may or may not effect the earth. it took millions (billions?) of years to form the grand canyon. and we are worried about stuff that has happened within the last 5 years. come on.

Yeah i heard about that and it seems like we arent running out but we are. Since we have so much salt water in the oceans most of earth doesnt think its much of a problem because the earth is mainly water, but we are being close to a shortage of water.

I think it's a scam. We can desalinate water for less than 50 cents per 1000 liters (264 gallons) and there are newer experimental technologies that can do it for less.

this is true but if you desalinate the ocean water, it does have an effect on the environment. i think we're fine though.
