A small rant - so, end of last summer, I got some new chronic blends, super pumped to ski them this year. A couple days into the season Im talking with this guy who is the Line skis warrantee rep, and he sees I have Lines, we talk, and he tells me to be sure and beat the crap out of them so I can warrantee them, because as long as its not rail damage they'll do anything. I ski all season, and at a point they began to delam under one of my heels, i assume from the pressure of landing switch. I deal with them for the rest of the winter, and as soon as I don't see myself skiing any more for the year, I send them in for warrantee, as this clearly looks like something that shouldn't happen in one season. After a month, they sent me back my original skis, saying that this isn't something they cover. A big reason I chose Line was because I knew about their good warrantee service and I assumed that since their merge with K2 it would be all the better. I am not angry, just very disappointed and would like to say that Line does not seem to have the kind of warrantee that they claim. That's about it.
i got the original invaders when they first came out, and i loved them, but... they delamned and i brought them back to my shop, and they said just bring them in at the end of the year, so i did that, and come november... they still did not have my new babies, and my shop continues to contact them, so evventually i just go look i need skis i have none at this point, and opening day was that coming weekend, so my shop owner, gave me shop credit, and i got my fugis, after this i refuse to buy any skis from line ever again.
line is cool, that is correct... im guessing your under heal delam = rail damage. if it were tip delam or something, it would prolly be covered. rail damage isnt only cracked edges, they have a little bigger toll than that...
i can almost guarantee that your skis werent being wrecked from landing switch
it can most likely only be done by rails and you cant really prove that it wasnt rails doingthat to your skis
i bought one pair of lines the ep pro, 86 waist old ones. tip delam, sent them in in june. got some elizabeths. i landed on a rock from a cliff, ripped the bindings out of my skis. got new elizabeths, rode them all year, sold the elizabeths, bought some bacons, delamed the tip, got next years bacons.
