WRONG.
A dump in Andermatt is as deep as a dump in Alta. The snow statistics are almost identical for both resorts, have a look at this, Andermatt on a good year:

The reason why the blue graph is so much lower for Andermatt is because Andermatt's base is at the same altitude as Salt Lake City while it's peak is at the same altitude as Alta's peak. Andermatt has 3x more vertical.
To get back on subject, are you guys saying Colorado is not usually like past winter?
