Replying to CAN i gET SPANCED?!?
Not really getting sponsored, just thought it would be a funny title, but kind of along those lines. So our town is small and we only have one board shop but it doesnt carry any skiing related paraphernalia. so I sent them the following letter asking them to consider skiing
Dear Missions Board Shop,
So i was just thinking and waiting for next winter, as a skiier i am pretty much stranded in the summer time. I was thinking about my future in the sport if i have any chance at becoming better known or maybe even a genuine "amatuer" at the sport, with sposors and everything. So i was thinking along these lines and one major block in that path i could see is we have no ski shops in town to work with. But then theres missions, the board shop that works all of the competitions at birch. The point of this rant was just to put an idea in the back of your mind that if you were to make skiing an aspect of your shop, you could greatly increase its interest in Fairbanks, increase your overall popularity and further the sport and the shop in our secluded town. I am not asking for you to go ahead and stock skis because that probably isnt the best financial decision at this point in time. but maybe partially sponsoring some skiiers(not paying by any means but maybe giving some shirts and letting it be know they ski for you), carrying some more brands of ski outerwear (boarders would also buy) and just adding skiing to the environment at your shop. Again the point of this wasnt to get you to be board, skate AND ski shop by next month, it is just to put an idea out there for the future. any consideration on the topic would be fantastic.

Just one skier trying to further his sport.
And my question is: should i do anything to change that, make it better, appeal more etc?
SPARKNOTES: Im trying to get a shop in town to try and support skiing so i wrote above letter to them. How can i appeal to them more?
