Ipod halp!

ok, so my ipod was working fine right, so i just got a new cd and wanted to sync my ipod with myituness ok, so far so good. after i unplug it and shit it just gives me the apple logo.

its a 80gig video btw

press and hold the center and menu button at the same time and it should restart.
if it still freezes on the apple logo hold the center and menu button untill it restarts then as soon as it does hold the center and play button. a screen called "disk mode" should apear. connect the ipod to your computer and restore it.

dunno if any of that will work but it is what i would do. good luck man.

Shitty, try doing what he said ^^ and if it doesn't work turn it off and let it sit for a while and try fucking with it later

give it a couple days rest (that helped mine at one point) get it into disk mode, try to restore it on your computer, and definitely make sure all the ipod software is updated

ok, so i did this and it said it cant restore because it cant be unmounted?
wtf?

and would a mac specialty store be able to help me? i know there a computer place but they do specialize in apple products.

try doing the thing to reset it (hold center and menu), but instead,
try flicking the hold button on, and then off, and then pressing the buttons.
i dont know if this helps, but in order for my 2g nano to reset,
you have to do that.
