FS: HELLBENTS

Now i just got these and decided that it just isn't for me.

They are 179's and they have been mounted 2 times. Once at center for FKS and once at recommended for a Tyrolia or something like that.

The bases are in decent condition, but could use a tune. The topsheets are in decent condition, but they are as expected for a ski that already has 2 mounts.

Almost forgot to add.

The only trades i'd like to do is maybe for another pair of fat skis for big mountain.

Eh, after flexing them they just seem too soft for my liking.

I have my eye on something a touch stiffer, but still rockered.

not everyone is into the super soft feel of the bents... or ep's.. or arg's...

For the threadmaker though.. good luck selling them. legit price.

Even though they feel soft from flexing them, when you ski on them they feel stiffer. They really don't flex in the part where there is normal camber, they mostly flex at the point of rocker. If you haven't skied them yet, I woud suggest actually skiing them to feel what teh flex is actually like.
If you do want something stiffer, but still rockered, I would check out the two new ones by Volkl. I was only able to demo the Chopsticks, but they were actually really nice. I like the stiffness of the ski, and they felt more stable, and easier to turn than Hellbents.

hey man, i would agree with everyone i ski hellbents and they are a much stiffer ski then it seems.  the ep's are what you wanna stay away from the are noodles.  but yea i would suggest skiing them even on groomers  just to see the flex in action.   but if you really want a stiffer ski try the new obseths they are a little stiffer not quite as wide, but so sick

i have some 06/07 188 JJs that were unmounted at the start of this season finally mounted with some 916s.  there are some gnarly top sheet chips, but no delam problems.  very, very fun skis for BC and all mountain.  no core shots, and only two small edge cracks from some billy goating.

188 JJ's are quite a bit of ski for a guy my size. To bad they aren't 178 :(

I as well have a pair of 188 JJ's for trade. Mounted once for a px/axial2 heel pattern at 305 about 1cm forward of recomended. one heelpiece pulled out with two helicoils. Otherwise, topsheets are great, with little chipping and it can definitly support anouther mount or two. Also trade with some cash. Let me know if you are interested.

hey buddy, i was checkin out your hellbents and i got a bit excited. i won a certificate for a free pair of rossignol skis that we might be able to work out a trade for. you could get next years s6's (check gear preview) which are 110 under foot, or the s7's which are rockered and much wider, the downfall is that you have to pay about 200 bucks to get the s7's with the certificate because they are gonna be so rare. but i have heard from local shops that they are amazing skis. let me know what you think

hellbents are mad fun. wish i had a pair. bacons are stiffer than hellbents for sure, they seem heavier too.

Absolutely. I did buy these from MALONE(alias is nivek) for $235 and i got a hell of a deal. And they aren't for me, so i decided to sell them. And it is called supply and demand brothers.


And yes i called Travis(not you TWE) out for flipping and i realized that i over reacted. And i apologize for that.

But this thread can die cause they are sold and shipped tomorrow.
