how long do they usually take to heal? i know this might be a stupid question but do u think ill be able to play golf by agust 13th?

It depends. By then it may be all healed or it could be partially healed. When its partially healed you'll be able to move it but raising it above your shoulders can hurt or damge the healing process.

Or you could be unlucky like myself and have your collar bone dislocate every time you raise it above your shoulders, which needs to be pinned. (Pretty much worse case)

i broke mine and the two ends of the broken bone were 2.5 inches apart...it took 3 months for comlete recovery so yeh its all depending on how you break it, ive heard of people who break it ways that only talk about a month and half...so yeh idk

i just got better from mine and a full recovery was about 11 weeks, so almost 3 months

my cousin broke his and it didnt take that long to heal. i think ull be able to play golf by then

takes 6 months for any collar bone break to be at 100% strength. your mentioning just the amount of time it takes for it to be usable.


to the thread creator depending on the severity of the break you should be able to do stuff after 6 weeks.
