While it may be a cleaner energy solution than oil is, it is by no means a 'fix all' long term energy solution. Where will we get all the fresh water from to run these? Desalitnation is expensive and environmental unsustainable (where will we put all the salt?). Also i'd be interested in finding out how much energy input is required to get the gas in ratio to the ammount of energy that is avaible from the gas afterwards.
