Reaaal weird taste in my mouth

So for the past maybe two weeks I've developed this really weird taste in my mouth, but only when I eat certain things. It started when I was really sick with the flu and I ate some gummy bears, and the lemon flavored ones tasted so bad I just couldn't even eat them. But now almost everything sweet tastes like that, and it's at it's worst when I brush my teeth with mint toothpaste. I don't know what it is, googled and can't find anything. It's not a metallic taste, tastes more like pollution or something really toxic. I know NS probably isn't the best place for advice, but any ideas? Thanks

ya. ive had that happen to me too man. its horrible huh. ive had it when i was sick like you andonce when i ate a ham and cheese hot pocket. from experience seems like only time will make it go away and thats the only thing. haha hopefully youll see the light at the end of the tunnel soon. o and stay away from ham and cheese hot pockets.

Hahaha, you can't even get hotpockets in NZ which SUCKS, but not as much as not being able to get Pop Tarts. How long did it take? Because I been over this sickness for like over a week

I think it might be an after effect of you being sick. my aunt got suuuuuper fucking sick like 10 years ago and it changed her sense of smell and taste. she says basically all sweet things taste like gasoline or something

sac up and try eating those yellow gummy bears again. maybe if you eat them when you are not sick and it might taste better and your wierd medical problem might go away.

theres your problem. u cant eat hot pockets and pop tarts. these are essential for ur personal well being. both physically and mentally

i get that after i have the flu, it last me like 2.5 weeks. i find tiquila (sp?) helps lol
