Best Night Skiing in the Galaxy : You Decide

I'm just curious what others places got. I have been around night skiing in North America, but thats it. Where is the best lift accessed night riding?

I say Brighton, UT. You can ride pillows and cliff drops into more trees, then cut into the park for some tables, wallrides, rails, boxes, and assorted jibs all in one run. this year my friend and I(eljefe), had one of the sickest nights ever. it was like 2-3 feet deep, we had a double hit cat track line into pillows and cliffs to park all night, luckily boarders don't hit this area either cuz it flattens out too much, suckers. one of the best days I have ever had riding, at night. I was lovin it, even threw some new tricks, and some classic old school shit, sooooo fun.

the snow was lighter and the chairs were almost empty, and it was puking, amazing. I love night skiing and would like to check out some other places. then I'll decide, bitches.

ive only done keystone and howelson in steamboat....i didnt know brighton did that...thats dope as fuck! i want to go now!

I didn't know bird was doing that. figures though, not really suprised, they got a fucking tunnel already. -thats another topic of disscusion. but brighton needs to expand, I need some mary chutes lights, haha.

I've been night skiing at Keystone, in Alta with a snow cat, and in Laax, Davos and Flumserberg in Switzerland.

on the east, avila has the best night park skiing, they're open till 10 or 11, and they have sick set-ups, it does get cold though

Ya ive had some sick nights at brighton. I also heard that rumor about Snowbird. I thought it was supposed to be this past year, but hopefully they get those in because there could be some sick stuff. I also went night skiing at Snow King ,but Brighton wins

i liked night skiing snoqualmie a lot better than keystone. weekdays are so empty, and it's not all rutted out by the time the lights go on...

Powder Mountain has some of the best night skiing I have been to East or West coast. Good lines up on lighting ridge that you can skin up in 10 min that get alot of moonlight and can find freshies all night long......

I'm not talkin about park. keystone is meeehh from what I hear.

and whoever said Alta that doesn't really count, its not open to the public for night skiing. although I would agree with you working there myself at the mid-mountain lodge. its part of my job to ski pre-public to work, and when I leave at night, sometimes 9 or so, I usually wait for the cats to make some passes by collins to use thier lights, or just make zach in the trash cat point the lights in the "right" direction. I have had some insane runs at night, wheeeew.

where are these other mountains located? wolf mountain has sick night skiing park? what? I've heard the pipe at snowbasin is lite up too, that would be nice. because brightons is more of a stunt ditch sometimes, but still fun, and can be incorporated into your nightly lap.

I only want to hear about stuff thats open to the public and lift accessed, and has good all around terrain.

wolf mountains parks is sick for night, there biggest jump is only like 35ft but they have every rail you can imagine, and some stair urban sets.
 snowbasins pipe isnt lit up but its right at the bottom so you can shine your car lights on it or full moon sesh it

Ive had a lot of fun at boreal a few times.  Ive had fun at mt. shasta too.  keystone was alright, but it gets too cold.  its pretty much just what you make it.

easily 'The Kanc' in Lincoln Nh. 100 steep veritcal feet, one super fast rope tow and sometimes PVC rails and a 60 foot jump...

Stevens Pass. The entire area is a huge bowl, and at night, with overcast clouds, you can literally see everything. I've hiked and skied shit off Cowboy and down 7th, just beautiful and deep.

Night park is a letdown tho. Sketchy at least, and all they'd have to do to light it properly is just install lights facing the other direction on their poles.

boreal in tahoe kills it.. kinda just for park though.. theres some fun shit right off the lift on a powder day, MAYBE.. but thats nothing compared to other places when it comes to steep night riding, and if squaw valley ever expanded their night riding, it would dominate all, for sure.
