That was sick. respect! I used to do this years ago and never heard of anyone else doing it until now. Great way to pass time when you are bored at the park and have nothing to do.
I posted a video of some flatspins, corks, and misties off swings about 6 years ago on here. I'll have to dig back into the history book and find it.
Fair warning though, for anyone thinking about trying this. Be careful. Especially if you want to try spins with flips etc. It's WAY too easy to get your leg caught up in the chain. Last time I tried it I ended up doing just that and it dropped me head first. I ended up Dislocating my elbow (elbow completely spun around my arm) and it was not good times. So just be careful and know your limits.
I'd be stoked to see more kids doing it. You can do supermans, doubles, corks, massive spins, and just about any trick imaginable. Once you got it down take it to some HUGE swings. it's a blast. trust me :)
the way he did that 540 frontflip was ridiculous. much respect. I never even thought about doing tricks the way these kids did.. where they hung underneat the swing like that
yesss. That was ridiculous. I kinda wanna get down with the movement, but those kids are about 4'11". Some how I see my head bouncing off the gravel. I think I missed the window to get dirty on a swingset.
has anyone ever gone on a swingset in the snow with skis on? there's this playground jib so i was swinging on the swinset to get speed and getting like 10 feet out grabbing blunt and shit , doing some big 1s... def a lot of fun
