Replying to Need some help- rail material

Alright, tonight me and my friend built a 10 foot rail in his kitchen of his house actually.. haha... it is about 4 feet high. we are bulding another 10 footer and extend it to 20 feet...... Now, my friend just randomly bought all the material and started blasting away in his kitchen. its going to be a shotgun rail. For the actual rails he bought copper piping. I told him to just get steal pipes but he wanted the copper piping for some reason, but whatever..... will that be fine? hopefully it doesnt rust or anything, cause he is drilling in the rails to the frame tommorow... I will post pictures of it when i get them scanned.... what a random night
