just wondering cause when i was most of yalls age i just liked getting high with friends.  nowadays i actually enjoy the taste and different highs of different strains.  so who here smokes purely to get high or for the image it projects.

When i started smoking at about 16 me and my buddies just got stoned to have fun and then by the time i was 18ish it was just to get stoned and chill, i dunno, i kinda moved onto drinking to have fun, and i dont smoke really anymore but thats due to legal issues. But getting stoned and going skiing is was fun and i feel like i enjoy skiing more when i do. But now i went a year without it and i had just as much fun so i dunno. I guess thats half the reason i dont smoke anymore, i just dont see any benefit for me.

but yeah, i used to smoke just to deal with the boredom that is being a lifty... but ive grown into a huge fan of the green... love the tastes, and certainly the different highs... not the stoner image...

I find my self enjoying the strength of weed more in blunts. A good well rolled blunt with dank weed is the was to go. Bongs are a more enjoyable smoke though.

so you smoke to get high..how can you enjoy the smoke from a bong, you inhale way to quick to really taste it, and most likely your bong makes your bud taste like resin

I enjoyed it up until about six months ago. I found it just lost its novelty. I don't know if it was never being able to catch the nostalgia, rememebring the fun I had smoking when I was like 16, if it was just growing to find the things I did stoned stupid and pointless, if it was because I found it interfered with sports/ school or if it was all three. Either way I let it go a while ago. I lost track of how long its been. I feel healthier and a liuttle more sensible for it.

Which isnt of course to say that I look down on people who smoke by any means. Most of my good friends still blaze. I just feel happier nowadays opting out and enjoying a fresh cold beer.

i enjoy prime green, i can tell the difference between strains by flavours/appearance/smell/high most of the time. i guess you could say im a "chronoisseur"

ive always had fun with it, and it seems to make me calm and really chill about things.  i just kinda let shit go that would normally piss me off.  idk, its fun and makes me feel good so i do it.

Well I first started smoking because my friends did it, and I wanted to know what it was like.  It was really all peer pressure.  Then I started doing it for the high.  Not to get completely fucked up, I really don't like that.  I just like getting high enough to see things differently and chill out.  And yeah, I really like the taste of it too.  Nothing like burning a bowl of haze in the afternoon.
