so I grab my longboard and coast down my driveway and around my col-de-sac like i usually do to get speed out of my street. well I coast out of the circle and start to carve a bit. I dont even lean hard and POOF my front right wheel shoots out. I fall and im like what the fuck just happened. I see my board rolling down the street with three wheels and im like huh? I get up and grab the board. I start to look around for my wheel and I find it. Now I guess it was angry I didnt die because when I grabbed the wheel i touched the bearings by accident. holy fuck they were hot. now I have a circle indent branded into my pointer finger. I suppose it was the fact that I havent changed my bearings in ohhhh 8 years and they started to cause more friction then lube. So yeah, theres my story for the night. Cool Story Hansel? I think so

that is shitty, i've had it happen once. i had just tucked down one of the steeper run on campus and it had a long flat run out that you can just coast. i had just come down the hill and was up on the sidewalk coasting watching the cracks go by under my feet. as i noticed my wheel was slowwwwwly getting farther awway from me and i didnt even put it together that my wheel was doing its own thing, next thing i know, the wheel rolled out into the road and my truck slide into one of the cracks in the sidewalk and stopped instantly. i got the worst road rash i have ever had.
