Center mounted skis

i can imagine they started out with center mounted skis in the beginning, i mean it makes sense. then someone really thought outside the box to have them on the back of the ski. and now many years later we are back to the roots. kinda cool if you think about it...

I dont really like the center mounted bindings much. I always thought they were always back mounted

I had my ARV's mounted back 4 cm back for about 2 years, and this year I switched em upp, and I really liked the feel of a true center. I had the power and control over the ski, and hititng rails were so much easier.

I am sure when skiing was invented that was the first though to have the bindings center mounted, but people realised they couldn't utilize those logs under there feet.

The whole evolution is quite intriguing if you ask me.

hey yeah ive never really thought about that. pretty out if the box imo to think of that duckfooted stance too
