Getting astroturf to slide better?

So we have a natural hill and we just lay the astroturf down on the lawn for our summer setup. The problem is, it doesn't slide great. What we did was hosed it down with a lot of water and added stuff like soap and tide. Should we do something different, or do we just need something firm under the astroturf (like wood... maybe plywood sheets)?

put plywood underneath of it and use shampoo if u need to just build like a 3 foot dropin on top of the hill

is it a steep hill? also is the astro turf like the plastic stuff? or is it more of the indoor/outdoor carpet? you need the plastic like stuff.

put some kind of plywood under it and build a little drop in if you have to, and dish soap is pretty solid

dish soap and water makes it slide pretty fast
also you could build a small drop in ramp
