Need wide ski

I need a new wide ski.

Vitals:
6'2
160 pounds
Ski interior BC, Whitewater.
Very expierienced skier, raced for several years.
Have skied and liked Gotama 190, Nordica Blower 185, Hellbent 179.

The skiing I will be doing with these will be deep powder, pillow lines, mini golf-ish lines, and dropping cliffs. So I'm lookign for something that:
Isn't too stiff
Is playful
Turns on a dime
Is rocker, obviously.
Still capaable to charge through some crud.
Stomp shit switch.
Will be able to rate 5's or 7's on.

Now with tat All out of the way, here's teh skis I'm currently looking at:

Moment Donner Party - Rocker, reverse sidecut, sounds like a super fun ski, plus I'd love to support Moment.
Armada ARG - Only heard great thinsg about it, reverse sidecut again.
K2 Hellbent 189 - When I tried the 179 it was super fun, but when i tried anything other than dropping cliffs or slashing powder they felt awkward. I'm thinking the 189 would be more suited to someone my size?

Whatever I end up getting they will be mounted with Fischer X17 bindings.
Thanks for teh help guys, and let me knwo what you think'll suit me best, or suggest another ski!

i dont know much about them, but the volkl chopstick seems to fit your description pretty well. you might look into them a bit more..

Moment Bibbys all the way.  Don't go reverse sidecut, it's not worth it.  You get plenty of powder performance out of a rockered, normal sidecut ski.  The Bibby's have a more solid flex than the hellbents so cliffs will be more enjoyable.  Plus, the topsheets on them are really solid (say goodbye to chipping). 

You might also want to look into the Praxis MTN Jib or some of their other skis if you don't mind spending the money.

invaders sound goood

but serially get args or donner partys cause you ski pow all day everyday and the reverse sidecut will be so much healthier then normal sidecut with rocker

Sounds perfect for you. 08's are on the same site for 499 i believe.

Arg's sound great for you... Armada is a great company all around.
Ep pros would be worth considering as well

if i were you i'd say "Arg" and be done with it.

those are too completely different skis. the arg's are actually quite stiff and would be nice if you don't mind the lack of performance in hard snow.  the eps are really too soft for you to have fun in anything besides the deepest pow.

i'd still go with the bibbys.  no i'm not sponsered by moment or anything, but i've ridden the bibbys and they definately are your best bet.

Wait, so why don't you think reverse sidecut? From what I hear they make turns shorter, funner, and they're still stable enough.

And no EP sorry. I don't want something that soft.

reverse sidecut kills in the deep pow.  if you already have a ski for all mountain use, i'd consider getting them.  reverse sidecut blows on groomers and hardpack.  normal sidecut is actually really fun on groomers and after a few runs, you can't even tell the difference from your non-rockered skis.  some even say they are better for groomers because with the short contact length you feel like your on a slalom ski.

I have Ninthward Firstblood for all-mountain use, and am picking up some Silencers or something for park. This leaves these just for powder, which is most o fthe time

well if you have two other skis and money to spare you might as well go with the args.  i hear they are amazing in pow.  just keep in mind that they will be pretty much a POWDER ONLY ski.

with your racing background I would say the ARG  I am not familiar with the fattest of the volkl line, but I ride karmas and Gotamas and would stay with them if I were in your shoes.

false. my buddy has got himself some Ep's and he fuckin slays groomers all day especially switch.

but regardless i would definately go with the Donnor Party's ot the Josh Bibby pro model. both fit your criteria pretty well and are coming from a solid up-and-coming company

problem is, they're both DIFFERNT kinds of sidecut, which happen to be what I'm trying to decide on. normal vs. reversed.

Two skis popping out in my head, still are Donner Party and ARG.

No one has anything to say about a Hellbent in 189?

i would like to preface this by saying i've never skied on a reverse sidecut ski but.. if they of use to anyone then you fit the mould perfectly! this guy doesn't care about the on piste performance an reverse sidecut is meant to be so sick in pow! if i got to ski interior bc then i would go for the Donner Party! Super fat, fun, turns on a dime.. i guess the Bibby would be sick since its designed for BC also but i would just decide whether to go reverse sidecut and then pick up one of the moments..

"DP vs. Bibby (the showdown)

The Bibby got its final touches the other day. It became a little bit stiffer than any proto's that went out last year. Also, the mounting point has been changed, originally it was mounted dead center...now the mounting point is about 3cm back. This ski kills it in the soft stuff and is still great in the crud. With conventional sidecut and just enough rocker this ski can be taken on the entire mountain.

The Donner Party like all reverse sidecut ski is really only great in powder. It can do pretty well in crud too. It has a very similar flex to the bibby but is a tad stiffer. It really is kind of rough getting back to the lift on hardpack but not any worse than any reverse sidecut ski...like a spatula. Although a bit harder to handle on the hard pack this ski turns on a dime in the powder and has the coolest feeling ever. Mounting on this ski is 3cm back but some people go up to 5 back."
