Watching ski movies just doesn't cut it. I wanna go skiing! This is my first summer in B-ham and I'd like to make some summer ski buddies with whom I can skin around Baker... Anyone?

^^moved to B-ham in the fall for school and skied Baker a bunch last season. My name's Nikki, yours? You got any skins? Hiking works all right too, if you en't got 'em.
Yo Chris! what sorts of shenanigans you been up to? My friend Shana and I are kickin' it in an apartment for the summer like two blocks from campus between High and N. Garden. I'm taking classes this summer and working which is even more depressing on top of not being able to ski, so we should find something badass to do around here...
It's possible I've seen you up there before. While you don't have skins but have a certification, I have skins but wish I had my certification. Then I could be a trip leader/assistant for Western's outdoor center and not have to pay for the trips up Baker and Shuksan.. hehe.. Anyways, hiking's a possibility, the only wheels I have are a bicycle though.
Yeah I'd be down and friday works well cuz it's my only day off.
Hellz yeah. What better way to celebrate Americas birthday than to go skiing. By the way, where do you live? I was riding my bicycle to school the other day and spied some skis on a car rack across the street from me.. don't know any of my neighbors though. Perhaps you live there..?
And Brian, it's Nikki... two k's.. a girl's name, just to clarify, she not he. haha. I should really just make my name pink but then I'd get a bunch of 12 yr old boys going through puberty post messaging me all the time..
Oh yeah, I remember that lil sesh. good times! You guys should have been friendlier though, said hey what's up or something! Where I live is on E. Ivy St., but there's like a billion E. Ivy streets in Bellingham that it's kind of confusing. anyways, it's the one between High and N. Garden, in that thing you would call an alley way? I like to call it that anyways, sounds cool.. or maybe it;s a 1/2 st., I donno.
