Ipod Mac Help!

Ok. So I just bought a macbook and I have all my music from my other computer on my ipod touch, can I some how get that music from the ipod onto my new macbook, or whats the deal. Someone please help

if your ipod registers on the new computer and shows up on itunes you can download a program called ipod rip from the little apple factory that works really well and it rips the songs from your ipod to your itunes

that didnt work for me, isnt compatible with the ipod touch? Any other suggestions plese... need help
