i was looking to buy this and cant find them anywhere the gay wakehoppers anyway...but these ones that actually good are made buy hyperlite and i cant find them on their site...a link would be awesome if anyone could find them, thanks!
here dude, check these out...they're made by HO. HO has been making freestyle jump skis for years so they're probably pretty good quality...these are the coolest ones I've seen.
theres guys at the lake by my house that do this, they bust like 720's over the wake and they do something that looks kinda like a misty 5, so sick, in that video were noobs
the ho ones are the only decent ones but blank skis are fucking 400 dollars plus 200 for the cheapest bindings, i'm wondering if i can use my wakeboard bindings for them but i don't have 400 bucks to spend on them
i built a pair similar to those out of hard foam and carbon kevlar. i have standard waterski bindings on them though which makes ankle support very weak. i guess if i build wakeboard binding attachments on them they would be better. lots of fun though.
If heard about this awhile back just there was never any exposure. It gives me the same feeling as when NS and the whole community was practically unknown. I searched last year on youtube/the net and I couldn't really find any info on it. Now that I saw this video, it got me pretty stoked. I didn't think you could ski switch and let alone take off/land switch. That is truly sick.
just one more thing:
I don't understand why they don't just call them (freestyle) water skis.
