broken wrist

that´s it i´m selling my inlines and buying a skateboard.

i broke my wrist last thursday. i might be skiing for a month june/july though.
so anyone know how long it takes to recover? the bone was completely broken straight off but nothing else was damaged.







what´s so funny about peace, love and understanding?

it takes about 6 weeks. I've broke my left wrist 3 times. (for some reason my right seems to be stronger. hehe)

If you break a certain bone in your wrist, the one on the inside that sticks out just a little bit, you could be in for a long haul. That bone gets no circulation and can actually die, then you need surgery, but hopefully you didnt break that bone.

I broke my right wrist last year on a spin. fuckin sucks, I did it like mid-april, and it took 4 weeks just to get in for surgery, 3 pins put in, then 6 weeks after that until you get them out. so it killed the rest of my season, did you break one of your arm bones? or an actual one of the little one's in the wrist? sucks though dude, except I still have a shitload of vicadyn from that break.

ive broken my wrist about 3 times i think, but they have all been clean breaks so they heal in about 5 weeks. try to get the cast wiht gortex liner in them. they are so nice, you can get them wet and they dont itch or stink

I broke a critical bone in my wrist 2 summers ago, fuckin 3month recovery. I still skated a lot, and I would ski too, I took some massive hits to that cast. You should just tape your pole to your glove.

I broke my wrist this winter. Youn can probably ski normal with the cast after
like one week. It's a bitch when you get it off man, its so weak and it hurts to move
it certain ways.

im going to recheck on monday to see if it´s healing fine. they said now about two months til im fully recovered.

the worst thing though is what do you do when you cant do any physical activities. im bored, so bored.
