Fighting democracy

here's an interesting point--by buying gas you're helping two authoritarian states, Russia and Saudi Arabia, become massively richer.  its funny because all of our democracy-spreading efforts pale in comparison to the incredible wealth we have given these countries.  the title was just an attention grabber, I know its not literally fighting democracy, but still its interesting to think about.

I'm tired of politicians talking about "easing the pain at the pump."  lets ratchet it up.  although it sucks for me because where I live I am 15 minutes from any good food, and half an hour from a theater.  but soon ill be back in school where I can bike/longboard anywhere

I for one am sick of forking my money over to arabs.  I just got a bike.  its a hybrid, exactly what I wanted, and the best part is it was free!
