Azureus vuze

Anyone else using this? I just noticed the added a "friends" feature for quicker sharing/downloading of torrents...pretty good idea IMO.

Yea, I do. Friends get priority when they're downloading something you have, too.

It seems to offer a lot of quality music videos, TV programs, I haven't really watched many though...

In fact... it's not even called Azureus Vuze anymore... mine just says Vuze

I use it.  I'm not a fan of all the stuff they packed in, I'd prefer a more simplistic client, but its the only one that works consistently.

yeah i used to download movies for my ipod with it. put then i stopped cuz it was way easier to borrow a movie and do it using Handbrake(way faster and simpler)

It takes me like 25 minutes to download a full 700mb DVDrip, on average

Gawd, I love living in a city with cheap cable...

True...I barely use the community shit. It would be nice to have a "Basic" option thats just the client but then I suppose they wouldnt get any funding from advertising all the other shit.

Whatever though, it works awesome for me (which for me means operating in the background well and downloading fast).

I have used it for a while.  They recently changed it to that media center type thing which is stupid.   I just use it to download torrents.  Its quick for me.   crtl + 1 brings you to the simple screen instead of that downloadabullshit

ive been downloading albums through vuze and thhey all worked fine at first but now they never start downloading and underneath the litte bar that tells you how much has loaded it just says ETA. anyone know what i should do?

yea but im saying is there any ways to fix this or should i just download something else? cause nothing wil reall download and even if it does start it says like a 10 song album will take 3 days

I live for azureus, cause it's the only decent fast tracker (transmission has issues, slow and won't connect sometimes for uploading). Only downpoint is that it's a ressource hogging app, especially when you seed dozens of torrents to private trackers.

Apparently, uTorrent doesn't have this problem. I can't wait for it to be released on Mac..

azureus has, or used to have a basic option. If people are interested pm me and I can try and figure it out. It doesnt have all that crap, just the torrent downloader client thing.
also what sites do you guys use for movies?

Yeah, that's the pre-Vuze versions. It used to be just the torrent program. I have version 2.5.0.4, and it's just the torrent part. You can get old versions here

Word  and I love the auto-shutdown feature.  I just leave my compy to download shit especially if I am going away for the weekend.  I get like 15 new movies when I come home.
