Car Insurance

So I'm about to buy my first car in ontario, 2002 mazda protege5, and I just got a quote from an insurance company, at 2500$ a year, this is the lowest I've been able to find, the next lowest was 3000$

what do you guys think?

oh also, I'm a G2, I took the classes, clean driving record, 21 years old

wow that sucks im 16 and all the quotes that i have gotten are like &1900-$2500 (US)
is canadian auto inssurance just more expencive?

damn.  I take it rates go up when you hit 18?  I've got a clean record and I'm primary on a truck.. $600 a year.

in 17 (in the us) and i have to log all my driving in a book for like a mont in order to get a reduction. its rediculus. I have to talk about my "driving goals" and feeling for each one haha

idk. i jsut got mine and our first quotes were round 2000. but we looked around. and now mine is 1200 a year for full coverage and im sixteen. drivin a 04 focus

i pay 2000 a year in mass which has wicked high rates because someone thinks we are bad drivers...even tho statstically we arnt the worst in the country...o well...
