This is what really happened. Liberals, anti-cop fools and punk skaters don't like this to be known.

The skaters are ages 13 to 21.

Skylar Nalls - 19
Matt McCormack - 21

There were also 4 other skaters who kept running. Some can be seen in the photos shown in the forum near the bottom of this column.

The skaters admitted they have been warned about skating in the area shown on the video many times in the past.

They admitted they knew they shouldn't have been there.

They refused the cop's lawful orders to stop skating.

These skaters were reportedly forcing pedestrians into the streets. Store merchants received the finger from the punks for telling them to stop.

This was a premeditated stunt.

The skaters nearly hit one woman.

The female skater is shown skating in a prohibited area, refusing a law officer's lawful order, fleeing and resisting arrest. It's all on the video. If you don't see then you are in denial.

The skaters were guilty of disorderly conduct, fleeing, resisting arrest, obstruction, interfering with a law officer and battery.

The oldest skater, 21 year old Matt McCormack, committed battery against a 67 year old man. That isn't mentioned in the description of other videos.

None of the skaters were choked/strangled. That was a lie being spread to gain public sympathy. Only the dumbest lemmings of society bought into it.

The officer's actions were not illegal or unlawful.

If the skaters stopped they would have received tickets or more warnings. They decided to flee and escalate the situation.

This went to court awhile ago. 19 year-old Skylar Nalls was found guilty of violating a city skateboarding law and to misdemeanor charges of fleeing and obstructing government operations. Police say Nalls attempted to interfere with an officer arrested other youths. He was sentenced to 30 days community service and 85 dollars in fines, plus court costs.

21 year-old Matthew McCormack of Hot Springs was found guilty of third-degree battery for striking Hot Springs Community Services officer Kenneth Billingsley. Billingsley was assisting police officer Joey Williams, who was arresting McCormack. McCormack was fined 210 dollars, plus costs, and ordered him to perform 30 days of community service.

Neither of the two skaters disputed or denied the charges.

The records for the other skaters are sealed because they are under 18. Judging by the video they were most likely found guilty of fleeing, resisting arrest, violating a city skateboarding law, obstruction and interfence with a law officer.

i understand that they should not have been skating there, and all the other things they did wrong. but explain to me how that wasnt choking the kid in the picture... cus i dont think a cop should be choking a 13 year old

do you think taxpayers who are walking down the street want to see a cop choking a kid and running around the street chasing some kid on a skateboard? come on. thats bullshit. he looked like a school teacher trying to calm down a class. do you think they want to see him put a girl, and a teenager, (who were not threatening him), in a headlock, and wrestle them to the ground? No. he over reacted.

As a son of a cop, i know that that whole situation could of been avoided if the cop, showed a little respect to the kids, and told them to leave, even if they said no, there are better ways to control that situation than to beat up and arrest a bunch of kids. what happens if those were hardened, street seasoned, adult criminals? do you think that overweight cop could of taken all 3 of them? no. that cop made his force look like a joke.

They obviously meant harm and one of the kids beat up an older man.

this reminds me of an incident after the london bombings, when an arab guy got shot dead by cops in the subway.

the cops saw the guy holding a suspicious bag and asked (maybe yelled at him, I dunno) to stop. So he ran, so the cops thinking "OMG MUSLIM TERRYRIST!" shot him. Tragic, ya. But completly avoidable. Ask yourself this people, in a 1st World Country cops arent going to beat you for nothing. (in most cases)

So if youre innocent, why the f*ck would you run? Youre setting yourself up for failure.

you dont think a cop should be choking a 13 year old. i think what you want to say is that i dont think a cop should choke a kid for skateboarding because i dont think age matters.  what if, and i know this is worst case/highly unlikely, but what if a 13 year old was doing hoodrat stuff, and like pushing old people off their walkers and when the cop does to arrest the kid he kicks he cop and shit, the cop cant do something drastic to detain the kid?  agreed, the cop shouldnt have choked the kid but a cop shouldnt really choke anyone unless they doing some crazy shit.  I dont think age matters.
