Daffy grinds

Is this even possible? i thought about it this year but i wasnt gonna be the gineau pig and neither were my friends. if it is possible i think you would need strong legs

On my friend's backyard box I started doing what would be I guess a semi daffy grind. Basically anybody could prob do what I did, but it was like a small tailpress on one ski(basically the toe piece of my binding was just off the edge of the box) and a small nosepress on my other ski, the heelpiece being just off the side of the box. They are pretty fun. Ill see if I can go further than that on my backyard box. Ill post some footage once I can get out there after my broken toe heels.

I kinda like the position the skis have to go in when people pretzel on thin ass rails, one nose up, other nose down. Looks sweet, dont think theres a way to sustain it without nutting yourself tho.

yea thats sick. the first one was just like a land daffy. the "rainmaker" is what i was talking about. i never really tried one but i will now.

Do you mean like jump on the rail normal and grind with the tip of one ski and tail of the other. Sound like you might be able to like do a little hop and do it quick, but youll prolly rack yourself

haha i did the flat ground daffy then spun will still in the daffy 90 degrees while going down the hill....ill try it on a box this season

Land daffies look damn good. Especially if they are done correctly. Personally, I can't do them nicely but I got mad respect to those who cal spin a three land daffy. Like Boyd Easley used to throw.

Yeah me and my friend have been doin the "rainmaker" this year haha. Never really called it that either though. We just called it the daffy grind. I do it like this: Get on (not 5050), and just shuffle your feet back and forth a few times. I haven't done it just like one big press goin 5050.
