Um, lots of people do it. I don't ride a snowmobile at all, and I probably won't very much next season, although I know people that own them.

Pollution=bad for the environment
you can't deny that, even if you don't believe in global warming
snowmobiles make pollution. they are just doing their little part to help, and lots of people respect that even if you don't.

That movie looks so cool. have you seen bikecar? And no ^you, these are all people that could have their own heli budgets and are choosing to walk. Just like the homeless sleeping on the streets for the night is nothing special and you sleeping on the streets at night is a statement for the homeless.

so they arent using snowmobiles to help the enviornment? im not sure if im right but if i am doesnt that seem kinda dumb? snowmobiles dont pollute for shit. if they want to do something about pollution, worry about cars, big factories, and prius's causing more pollution than normal cars. i bet 100 years of snowmobile use around the world equals about 30 seconds of car use around the world in terms of how much they pollute.
although i do think the idea of being out there by themselves for a really long time and camping at different spots is a sweet idea. it would be pretty cool to just go around the backcountry for like 2 weeks, totally away from anyone else and just doing sweet lines and hitting awesome jumps all day.

Most snowmobiles, being mostly 2-stroke engines, pollute horribly worse than cars.

Not to mention the noise pollution caused by loud sleds ripping through the BC.

bros arguing about sled pollution, dont worry about it. 2 strokes are becoming illegalized and 4 strokes will be the only thing you can buy. less noise pollution blah blah blah, if you're concerned with the environment, get a road bike and hope the US doesnt test anymore nuclear bombs, EVER. as for the movie shit looks clean, thats what it takes to achieve originality these days, its not solely because they're hippies lol. it should be entertaining nevertheless for suure. That's such a pointless argument. if you believe in something, then you believe in it from all angles. If they can pollute just a little less by not riding snowmobiles, and they want to do so, then more power to them.

calling them hippies is stupid, they are doing something they think is right, even if you dont care, which is respectable.
