Give'r a go and let me know how it runs. On PC, IE 6 seems faster than Firefox. Can someone on a Mac tell me if it runs smoothly in Safari?

I'm hoping this works well on most people's computers so I can start adding more stuff in.

hi again, i know you are probably very busy but one suggestion that i dont think would be too hard to put in is extending the mountain lower so that when you are doing the pillow line you dont fly off the page. It has happened to me a bunch of times when i air off of the last few pillows and i go to long for the map.

Got some small updates in

Shifties are back
You trail some snow when you air off a cliff
Cleaning landings count as stomped tricks
There is a clear tracks button
Changed the skier model around a bit
Some other minor graphical stuff

I changed some other stuff behind the scenes too. Let me know if you notice the game running faster or slower.

Love the snow that trails you off cliffs... Super sick, its slower for me in full screen but still fine when its small. O and now i'm getting some little glitch every once in a while that when I land i go back uphill for a real short bit... but super sweet game!

shifties are just alternating between the ways you spin. for a left side shifty 180 you would hit the left key right off the cliff, then the right key then the left again

What i would really like to see from this game:
You skiier to be able to get up some more speed from straightlining or sticking landings
be able to jump out the sides of the cornices/bombholes
be able to jump rock drops from the side without it killing you.

This game is so sick mate well done.

Thanks for the info guys!

I should have a faster version up later today. I've taken a few polygons off the skier, changed how the snow spray is rendered, and cleared out some other junk.

I've had the uphill landing thing happen once or twice to me. Can anyone get it happening consistently? Does it always happen when when spinning off a cliff switch and landing forward or something like that?

A new version is up with today's date on it. It should be a bit faster. I can't get the uphill landing bug to happen with this version. but maybe someone else can?

it's a lot faster for me. the only bug i could find was when i take my very first tracks and hit the cornice at the top, the screen goes completely white for a second then fades back into color. after that it's not a problem

quaz.. it def runs faster than ever for me (and thats saying something cause my laptop is infested with viruses and runs like shit) and its been looking awesome... only thing i can suggest is maybe applying same idea of slow spin with flip and lincoln.. and also maybe when ever you land clean enough for the game to say stomped, maybe a little speed boost? just some food for thought..
