Drop in to ramp help

Hey sorry if i missed a bunch of threads on this subject but i've been trying to figure out the best possible way to connect your platform to the drop in.  On my current set up i have hinges that have bolds threw the platform and than swing out and have nails through the drop in (or ramp).  It worked for a while but i really need to build a new one and i was thinking along the lines of a ladder drop with turf like this

But the only part I'm not sure about is the part from the turf drop to the part where you stand.  Any ideas? thanks.

that looks really sick.  but ladder drops can be really scetch and dangoues.  your best bet is to just make a 5 foot high tablwe with a drop in that are both connected with a hinge.  that way it is foldible (and could be portable) and your parents won't have your ass about "how it takes to much of the yard!".  you can easily make a table and drop in for under $100.  if your lucky you could fit a double barrel shotgun rail into that $100.  your best bet is to just shop around different stores.  like at one homedepot turf can be $0.99 and down the street and can be $0.49.  look around and when your building post up pics!

aight dude, nothing against you or whatever but you didnt say anything in that post concerning his question.  im switch5s buddy and weve already got a drop in that is exactly what you just said but the connecting method isnt holding up very well, so he asked for a new method.  we want to build the actual ramp part like the one in the picture to reduce weight and increase speed, but we are at a crossroads as to HOW to connect the ramp to the tower.  the tower is easy to build, the ramp is easy to build so no problems there, but what is a NEW way or a BETTER way to connect the ramp to the tower?

not really.  there isn't almost another way of that i can think of other than hinges.  what you could possibley do is conect the whole ramp to the table.  dunno, do you want it portable.  my mind is blank right now.

We did the hinges for portability but i didn't end up moving it so i don't think this one will be no
