Im 5'10, 160 lbs, Average skier.
For next season I want a pair of soft park skis. Since all i ski is park, I figured i might as well buy a symetrical ski.
All are the 2008 Models. Ive narrowed it down to 3 main choices:
Line Invader- 178cm...250$
Line Anthem- 178cm....300$
Atomic Punx- 182cm....300$
Im not really looking into the Anthem, as its too wide for my liking. So, I guess its now between the Invader and Punx. I would like to purchase the softer of the two.
Lastly, Ill be mounting these with FKS bindings, or is that not a good idea. I have access to some Mojo 15's. Its just that I have never seen invaders mounted with FKS...possible tear-outs??
Thanks for the help.

I've got fks120s on my invaders, not a problem. Love them.
I can't say anything about the punx because I've never ridden them, but I love my invaders so I'd reccomend them for sure. I'd also prefer to support line than atomic...

the invaders will be the softer of the 2. i did not like the punx, they just seemed to washout on jumps while the invaders held up great

if it were me, I would buy the punx or the anthem.. Invaders are not a bad choice though... just not what I would do...

yeah the invaders feel like a pair of noodles when you hold them in your hand, but they right great, so if you say your an average skier i assume you don't stomp super big stuff so the invaders will be fine!

I don't know brah...
I mostly ski PA and VA and I see alot of anthems on the "Ice Coast"
People I have talked to say that though they are wide, they hold up real well in the park.
plus 93 underfoot is that huge at all...

I would go with atomics. Durable Light and poppy, also one the best skis i have ever tried.

i would say invaders. u seem to be a fairly light guy and looks like u want a nice soft fun ski.
also abotu binders....go fks...u already have a pair if i am correct right? i have mojo 15's on my karmas and they arent bad..(pm me with specific questions on them)
but the breaks on the mojos SUCK. so expect to have to replace them as even my tech at my shop who works magic could not save mine that got bent out of shape...
i also badly sprained my LCL in my knee in my mojos. not 100% that it was the bindings fault(they were at proper DIN and forward pressure) but just thought i would give u a heads up.

don't get atomics. get invaders if you're not going to get anthems(which are better than invaders, more stable, softer landing, look better since neon mexican wrestlers scream "village people")

I have ridden them both and i would choose the punx because they are soft but there for you when you need them to be. I felt like the invaders couldnt support you if you needed them too.
